Narody świata powstały w wyniku walki o ziemie, dominację i kontrolę nad terytoriami. Wiele z nich miało swoje początki w momentach, kiedy granice były wytyczane przez siłę, a nie porozumienie. Dlatego naturalne stało się, że patriotyzm i lojalność wobec własnego narodu były często utożsamiane z bronią, wojną i koniecznością obrony przed zewnętrznymi zagrożeniami. Jednak zastanówmy się, czy rzeczywiście to jest sens wolności i patriotyzmu? Czy prawdziwa wolność nie powinna opierać się na wzajemnym szacunku i zrozumieniu, a nie na dominacji czy agresji?
Jestem głęboko związany z moim narodem, z jego historią, tradycją i kulturą, jednak nie mogę zapomnieć, że kultura nie kończy się na granicach państwa. Oczywiście, mam silne poczucie więzi z moim krajem, ale ta więź nie powinna oznaczać zamknięcia się na inne narody i ich dorobek. Kultura to zjawisko globalne, które nie ma granic. Z biegiem lat zaczynam dostrzegać, że czas spojrzeć na kulturę nie tylko z perspektywy jednego narodu, ale jako część większej całości, globalnej mozaiki, w której każdy element ma swoje miejsce i wartość.
Nie chodzi tu o rezygnację z dumy narodowej czy z tradycji, ale o zrozumienie, że wszystkie kultury mają do zaoferowania coś cennego. Przyszłość wymaga od nas, abyśmy zaczęli patrzeć na nie z większym otwartym umysłem. Może to właśnie w tej wymianie doświadczeń, w szacunku do innych tradycji, odnajdziemy prawdziwą wolność. Kultura nie powinna być narzędziem podziału, lecz mostem do budowania porozumienia i współpracy ponad granicami.
The nations of the world were born as a result of the struggle for land, domination, and control over territories. Many of them began at times when borders were drawn by force, not by agreement. Therefore, it became natural that patriotism and loyalty to one's nation were often associated with weapons, war, and the necessity of defense against external threats. But let us ask ourselves: is this really the meaning of freedom and patriotism? Shouldn't true freedom be based on mutual respect and understanding, not on domination or aggression?
I am deeply connected to my nation, its history, tradition, and culture, but I cannot forget that culture does not end at the borders of a state. Of course, I have a strong sense of belonging to my country, but this bond should not mean closing ourselves off to other nations and their contributions. Culture is a global phenomenon with no borders. Over time, I have begun to see that it's time to view culture not just from the perspective of one nation but as part of a larger whole, a global mosaic where each element has its place and value.
This is not about renouncing national pride or tradition, but about understanding that all cultures have something valuable to offer. The future requires us to start looking at them with a broader, more open mind. Perhaps it is through this exchange of experiences, in respecting other traditions, that we will find true freedom. Culture should not be a tool of division, but a bridge to building understanding and cooperation beyond borders
